Trump on Sunday dismissed reports that he is considering running for president in 2020.
Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity, the Republican presidential nominee said that the election is not rigged and he is “not gonna take advantage of anybody.”
“We’re not going to take advantage.
The election is absolutely not rigged.
If there’s any fraud, it’s on us,” Trump said.
Trump has been criticized for saying he would not be bullied if he ran.
His recent comments prompted a number of people to accuse him of making threats against his opponents, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D.M., former President Bill Clinton, and former President Barack Obama.
“He’s not gonna be attacked by anybody.
He’s not going take advantage, and we don’t want him to take it,” Trump told Hannity on Sunday.
He said that he would have a “great time” running for office, but that “people are trying to intimidate me and make me scared.”
“And it’s sad, and it’s dangerous.
We’re going to fight back, and I’m gonna be a big, big hero,” Trump added.
Trump, who has said he has no interest in running for the White House, has been a constant critic of the mainstream media for decades, which he says is not unbiased.
The presumptive GOP nominee has previously called the media “dishonest” and “a bunch of liars.”
He also claimed that the media has manipulated his comments about the Orlando shooting and the San Bernardino attack.
Trump made the comments in response to a question about whether he would support a ban on Muslims entering the United States.
Trump is also the subject of a federal civil rights investigation into his business empire after a leaked recording surfaced in which he bragged about sexually assaulting women.
The GOP nominee said he would investigate allegations against him, and that he has been the victim of “a total conspiracy” to undermine him.
Trump also said he believes the election will be “rigged” against him.
“If it’s not rigged, we’re gonna have a massive landslide.
And I think it’s rigged.
And they want to destroy me,” Trump declared.
